Recording a harvest

Record the date, crop, amount, quality and storage location of your harvest.

A harvest records the yield picked from a crop. The form requires the crop and the harvest date; everything else you can fill in as needed.

Adding a harvest

  1. 1

    Choose Harvest

On the Add screen, choose Harvest and tap Next. The Add harvest screen opens.

  2. 2

Choose a field if you like

The field is optional. If you choose one, the app can fill in the first crop assigned to it.

  3. 3

    Choose the crop

The crop is required. If it is not in the list, add it to your crop collection first.

  4. 4

    Set the harvest date

The harvest date is required. The form suggests today’s date, but you can change it.

  5. 5

    Add the amount and unit

The amount and unit are optional. You can record the harvest in kilograms, tonnes, pieces, crates, punnets or another available unit.

  6. 6

    Rate the quality

In the Quality rating field, choose the quality of the harvest. It is set to Good by default.

  7. 7

    Add any extra details

You can add a harvest photo, the storage location and notes. Finally, tap Record harvest.

Weight per unit

If you choose a counted unit, such as pieces, punnets, crates, pallet boxes, baskets, sacks or packs, the form shows the Weight per unit and Unit fields. Once you fill them in, the app works out the estimated total weight in kilograms.
