Exporting your data

Save your Journal entries to a PDF or CSV file.

Exporting creates a file with the entries saved in your Journal. You can export treatments, other work and harvests, and with the Professional user type also a register of treatments with plant protection products.

Where to find the export

  1. 1

    Open More

Go to the More tab and choose Export data.

  2. 2

    Choose the export format

A professional user can choose Standard or the plant protection register. If you do not see the plant protection register, go to More, choose Preferences and set the user type to Professional.

  3. 3

    Choose the period

You can export data for a chosen month, a whole year, your own date range, or everything you have saved, with no date filter.

Standard export

The standard export is for your own summaries and records. You can tick Treatments, Other work, Harvests, or several at once.

  1. 1

    Choose what to export

Treatments cover spraying, fertilizing and fertigation, with products, doses, fields, crops and the worker. Other work covers activities without a product or dose. Harvests cover the amount, quality, field and crop.

  2. 2

    Use the shared filters

You can limit the export to selected fields or crops. If you use cadastral parcel numbers (farms in Poland), you can also choose whether the file describes each field by its name or its parcel number.

  3. 3

    Use the treatment filters

For treatments, you can filter by status, application method, products and worker.

  4. 4

Use the filters for other work and harvests

For other work, you can filter by status and type of work. For harvests, you can filter by quality.

The plant protection register

The plant protection register lists the treatments carried out with plant protection products. Its layout follows the record that professional users in Poland are required to keep, so the app only includes treatments with products marked as plant protection products (PPP).

  1. 1

    Choose the plant protection register

On the Export data screen, choose the plant protection register format. By default the export includes completed treatments, but you can change the status to all or planned.

  2. 2

    Set the period and filters

Choose a month, a year, a date range or everything. In the filters, you can narrow the register down to specific fields and crops.

  3. 3

    Check how fields are identified

If you use cadastral parcel numbers, you can choose Parcel number. For a simpler description, choose Field name.

  4. 4

Make sure your treatments are complete

The register uses the data entered in each treatment: the type of use, product name, authorisation number, date and time, dose, location, area, crop and reason for use.

  5. 5

    Check your own products

If a treatment with one of your own products is missing from the register and the product should count as a PPP, make sure its Plant protection product (PPP) switch is on. You can turn it on when you create the product, or later: open the product details, choose edit and tap Update product. If a product from the app’s database is missing the PPP marker, write to us.

PDF or CSV

A PDF is good for printing, sending or keeping as a finished document. A CSV opens in a spreadsheet, such as Excel, when you want to filter, sort or build your own summaries.

Ready to get to work in the app?

Once your crops, fields and products are set up, you can record treatments and export your data from the Journal.
