Field work without a product

Add pruning, mowing, sowing, planting, watering and your own activities.

Field work without a product is for recording jobs that do not need a product dose, such as pruning, mowing, weeding, sowing, planting or your own kind of work.

Where to find field work

  1. 1

    Open the Add screen

On the Add screen, scroll to the More section and choose one of the activities.

  2. 2

    Use search if needed

When the extra activities are turned on, you can search them from the header of the Add screen.

  3. 3

Turn the activities on if you do not see them

If you do not see work such as Pruning, Mowing or Sowing, go to More, choose Preferences, open Feature visibility and turn on Pruning and mowing.

Types of work available

The app supports Pruning, Mowing, Weeding, Watering, Sowing, Planting, Harrowing, Cultivating, Disking, Mulching, Rolling, Plowing, Aeration, Subsoiling, Scarification and Custom activity.

Filling in the form

  1. 1

    Name your custom activity

If you choose Custom activity, the Activity name field is required. For the other types, the name comes from the activity you chose.

The field is optional. Once you choose one, the app can fill in the first crop assigned to it.

  3. 3

    Fill in the crop

A crop is required for pruning, sowing, planting, harrowing, rolling, plowing, aeration, subsoiling and scarification. For mowing, weeding, watering and a custom activity it can stay empty.

  4. 4

Add varieties for sowing and planting

The Varieties field appears for sowing and planting. Other work does not use varieties.

  5. 5

Set the date, time and status

The date and time are marked as required in the form. Choose the status too: Planned or Completed.

  6. 6

Fill in the details of the work

For pruning, you can choose the pruning type. You can add notes to any work.

  7. 7

    Record the work

Finally, tap the Record button, which names the activity you chose, for example Record pruning or Record sowing.
